Leaving Zendesk?

The stories that keep coming from small teams are about renewals, not features: multi-year quotes at multiples of the old price, and AI resolutions that bill per conversation on top of the seats. If that's the mail you just opened, here is what switching to us gets you — and, just as honestly, what it costs you.

The billing difference, plainly

CapraDesk is one flat price per plan — not per agent, not per ticket: free (1 agent, 50 tickets/month), Team €29/month total for up to 5 agents, Pro €79/month total with unlimited agents. AI triage is included in every plan — we never charge per AI resolution, per conversation, or per token. Our AI answers the tickets it can and hands anything it can't to a human after at most three attempts, and none of that motion appears on your invoice. The one thing we do meter is phone support — voice minutes cost us real money per minute, so they're capped per plan (200/month on Team, 1,000 on Pro) rather than pretending to be free. That's the entire pricing model; there is nothing else to discover at renewal.

What you get

What you give up — read this half too

Zendesk is a large CX platform and we are not. Moving here you lose: the marketplace and its thousand integrations, omnichannel social messaging, a public help-center product (our knowledge base feeds the AI, it doesn't publish), and enterprise workflow depth. There is no import tool yet — your ticket history stays in Zendesk, so export your data before your access ends; we start you fresh, and our API's idempotent creation can backfill open tickets if your team scripts it. If a large support org runs your channels through Zendesk's ecosystem, staying is genuinely the better call, and we'd rather say so here than after you've moved.

One more honest line: our AI triage sends ticket content to Anthropic's API to do its work (they don't train on it — see our Terms). If your policy is that support content never leaves your systems, we are not your helpdesk.

Who this actually fits

Small ops, infrastructure and MSP teams — one to a few dozen agents — who want tickets answered, incidents tracked, and a bill that reads the same every month. That's who it's built for, and who the renewal-quote stories keep coming from.

Try it on a real ticket

Zendesk experiences above are what switchers publicly report (September 2026); their pricing varies by suite and negotiation, so verify your own renewal quote against their current terms.
